Let's first say that... I'm in! I got accepted to HIT! I'm going to be a graphic designer! Yippee!

Now, on less exciting news, longer boring paragraphs, let's talk about Betzalel.
The tests in Betzalel were different then in HIT. In the first one they asked us to bring a broccoli, a cauliflower and an artichoke, and draw one of them along with either a plastic spoon or fork. I chose a piece of broccoli with a spoon jammed in it. After drawing it there was also an assignment to make a logo from the vegetable and describe what kind of organization use this logo. What I made is a guitar-shaped broccoli and an organization that teach rock music to new immigrants (ברוק-עולים.
In the second test we were given a black carton and with only scissors and glue, we had to to make a scene in either a café, an airport or a zoo. I made an airport room with a smoldering airplane in the background and people missing their flight.
The third test was recognizing thirty images and labeling them. People, places, events, logos... all kind of stuff. I believe I got 6 wrong out of the 30. That was pretty easy and I got our after only 15 minutes.
The forth and final test was to make a six-paneled comic with a given first line of dialog and on object in the fifth panel, in only 45 minutes. My rushed comic was about a couple of guys getting drunk and doing stupid stuff. (It looks better on paper. Trust me)

Two days later, I got a call that I passed the tests! Yay! Now the next stage is the personal interviews I did today.

So I just came, got interviewed by the first lady (not the First Lady...), and half an hour later by a second lady. Nothing much to tell about the interviews themselves, as they were pretty standard.

After I left Betzalel I came to visit my friend Dan, where we played some Gamecube like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Cart and some Star Wars name I can't remember the name of. Could be Rebel Attack. This the first time I ever see, not to mention play, a Gamecube, so that was pretty awesome.

And that's it. Now I'm waiting to hear the word from Betzalel, and if I made it there, I'd have to make the hard decision where to study. If I'm going to stay near home and study in HIT, or more to Jerusalem and learn in Betzalel. This will be my first grown-up-life decision, and I'm kinda afraid.
